SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Further Adventures of Astrogirl!

this is a redux of the original idea. astrogirl was based on asomeone i knew a long time ago who was a real sweetheart. a genuinely nice person. someone a respect greatly and miss quite a bit. plus she was smoking hot. here is the new style im working on and a piece that has the things all the pros suggest i have: 1. character doing something 2. image tells a story 3. solid lines and whole areas of light and dark (for printing purposes)

27 Dec 2005	Laura Rappleye	Loading... I like this new style you're trying out. Makes me jealous that it seems to come so easy to you. I've tried cartooning and I just am not sure if I like how it looks or not. This would probably look fabulous inked. Have you ever considered trying that? But then I could be wrong... Raymond H. Carroll replies: "heck no it wasnt easy! lately ive been working on a writing project so i havent been drawing as much as i want to. im not so good at inking. thats why ive finally caved in and im learning about all that magical software that can do it for you. good to hear from you and happy holidays."
