| 31 Dec 1999 | Lisa Ann Stevens | The detail on the hammer is sooooo cool. His feet do seem a bit dainty, but still you did a really nice job | |
| 23 Mar 2000 | Freeman | I love this one, hope that u will finish it someday | |
| 29 Jun 2000 | Norma Peters | Excellent work. I'd love to see the finished product. | |
| 17 Jan 2001 | Janel | Powerful image, very spiritual feeling to it. | |
| 9 Jun 2001 | Ann Amedyr Wright | The head, even if it belongs to a bear, looks too big. But the rest is just so good! I don't think it's unfinished, it could add some meaning. Maybe you're still learning and/or lacking something, and that is represented by the visual uncompleteness. I would like -very- much to know what it all means... can you tell me by e-mail or something? Please? | |
| 30 Jun 2004 | M. K. Kuehne | I have to wonder about the meaning as well.. but perhaps it is better if we come to our own conclusion. Isn't that part of what art is about? I think perhaps the fact that the wings are "unfinished" suggests that Carroll is not yet ready to "fly".. whatever that might mean. Wonderful work. And yes, the head does seem to be a bit large, but perhaps this was on purpose. | |
