I would say that the proportions would be screwed up if it were a halfling...the shorter someone is, the broader they tend to look, and that femme is wayyy too thin to be a halfling...I like the sword, and the face is cool too. The outfit is nice...my only gripe is, where's the color??? ^_^

You know what? I've seen people who seemed WAY too thin to be real people AND I know someone whose torso is wayyyyyy too long compared to "normal" standards--not to mention that her legs are really really short. Some people look odd and that's just the way it is. I think that ESPECIALLY because this character isn't even human that you can't really complain about proportions like that......so get over it people

That's one heck of a claymore! Looks a bit like someone got carried away about the length of a pike, then ditched that idea and went for a really big sword. Other than that I love it!

Well, the nice lady is in proportion lengthwise; she's just elfishly lean. On her, that blade is definitely a two-hander or great-sword. The greatsword comes about up to the user's hairline and saw considerable use fighting off companies of pikemen and going after opposing infantry by the squad. A bastard sword (I own one -- Museum Replicas) will come up to about the user's ribcage and is usable one hand or two. Make sure you don't skimp on the pommel size -- a two-hander should balance about 2 handspans down from the guard, the bastard sword about one, for the suitable combination of maneuverability and hitting power. That's the sort of thing that we of the Society for Creative Anachronism have rediscovered through experience.
