SciFi and Fantasy Art: DragonSword

This was the first picture I did when i finally got a good set of watercolours. I hadn't exactly had any lessons though (still haven't) and it took me this picture and another to igure out you should wet the area you're doing a wash on first, then paint it... instead I ended up with an interesting texture in the background. watercolour on paper.

15 May 2001	Daena M. Ortego	Loading... Good job, especially if you were new to watercolors! And watercolors can be used on dry paper, wet paper, damp paper -- anything! You just get different effects depending on how you use it. Experimenting is half the fun! Keep up the good work!
