SciFi and Fantasy Art: Courting A Memory Has A Price

Did I spell courting right? Anyway, I had to scan this picture at a larger size than usual as it would have lost to much detail to have even bothered to put it up. I used a mechanical pencil for it, and a q-tip for some blending.

I like the chain of skulls and the group of morbid elves (?). I wonder what they are there for? Anyway imaginative concept.

The detail makes this flow beautifully (though it's morbid and dark--okay beautiful in a morbid way)I can hear the bones rattle against the cobblestones!!!

woho-ooh! you don't wanna know what the voices are saying in THIS one! it's very atmospheric in an ethereal, spooky way, *shiver* haunting concept, especially combined with the title...how did you have the patience to do all that vegetable matter-grape or moss type thingy at the top though? it certainly adds much to the picture, but i could never be bothered to do that!

No, I don't think that's a face in her chest, it's bones. Anyway, great job, the title has a lot of significance, did i spell that right? lol.

I'm very impressed by that border if not anything else. Also those little spooky creatures watching the two main figures. I really like that border!
