| 6 Mar 2002 | Pussycat | WOOT first comment!!! I really liked this picture because you could like see emotions in her face, but her hand that is holding the staff is a little to big i thing, but then again that might just be me. But once again this is very GOOD!!! Rhiannon Dariyan Daymond-King replies: "Well, her arm holding the staff is supposed to be further forward... I suck at foreshortening usually... but yes I agree it does look too big. Other than that I think this is one of my very favourite pencil pictures!" | |
| 21 Aug 2002 | Laurel Marie Hochstetler | Wow, I love this!!! I esp. like the way you drew the wood grooves on the top of the staff. My only complaint is the eyes seem a bit dead... | |
| 2 Nov 2002 | Marmaduke | The eyes look a bit crossed but this is good. Rhiannon Dariyan Daymond-King replies: "Hmm... yes... I'm not great at eyes (at least getting them reasonably horizontal was a bonus)The grooves on the top of the staff... are tendrils wrapping round a dark emerald green stone. That staff is weird. It changes. It turned into a spear, a trumpet, and a sword. Oh and it does a good bow, but staff seems to be its more natural form. I still don't know what she does with it when she's flying... maybe it turns into a necklace or something? a belt would get in the way of the wing flaps.hey... my friend knows a dragon called Marmaduke... he's head of a security company... "Marmaduke Dragons: Tresspassers will be roasted and perhaps eaten"" | |
| 23 Nov 2003 | Jessie 'Ithildae' Ranby | Actually, it's "Trespassers will be roasted", full stop. But you were close.
Marmaduke says hello. | |
