SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elven Skeleton

Guess who just walked into an x-ray... If you find a picture of a human skeleton you'll note there ARE some particular differences. Originally I did this when I still thought Elves only had three fingers... *ahem* I've changed it, obviously. *coughs again in extreme embarrassment*

I would go with the cartilage (glad you could spell that) since an extra bone would be susceptible  to painfull breakages and you elves would be forever holding your ears in pain!!

Erm would elves have bone ears?

1 Rhiannon Dariyan Daymond-King replies: "*thinks very hard* PROBABLY, now I think of it, just cartilage - although, being longer than a human's ears, might need more strengthening... might also help hearing as extra vibrations of sound waves channeled through bone more efficiently than flesh. At the time I just thought, well it makes it look more Elven I guess.I would welcome _your_ point of view on this interesting question!"
