I love her! That club is kinda scary though! A suggestion for the background... I kinda like the faded coral you have in the upper left side... this could be continued on the right. It would give it a more completed feel without taking away from the focus of the piece. ;-)

that is gorgeous. I've noticed that a lotta people in the wood draw mermaids with stripes on ther fins....so, the next mermaid I'm drawing is also going to have fins! hell yes. lol.

Great job! You work really well with pencil. I would keep the background simple maybe just a light gradation. Too much may weaken the composition. Keep up the great work!

Lol. heres my story for this one:
Demoer sat down to rest from all the excitment he had with another merboy named Jikm. Demoer saw an odd merman he had seen before. And He knew he was bad news. The queen His mom layed her head back sleepily not noticing this strange merman with a large dagger in his hands.
"Ah... Mom..." Demoer said worriedly. The queen opened her eyes to late. the strange merman did it. "Nooooooooo!!!!!!!" Demoer cried at the dreadful sight. The merman had started juggling and put on a clown wig. "MOM!!!!! I HATE CLOWNS!"

Lol sorry I had to. I really like the way her hair flows and the anatomy is done really well.
