SciFi and Fantasy Art: Pax in Armor

Pax, a high cleric and knight of paladin, pictured in her golden armor with the platnum dragons. This picture was done first in pencil then later colored on computer. The original size is 12x18. If you look close enough you can see the details in the armor. Sadly though, the shrinking of size and lower file has taken alot of the details out. I was realy satified with how the original came out.

I think that possibly a little more time could have been spent on the lower body, you have a very good touch to the facial aspects, but on the lower body under the breasts there needs to be more figure shown. I see that she has armor on but maybe if there was more detail shown it would better bring that fact out.

me again...I forgot to mention that dark elves are normally evil and those who aren't are exiles.'Course I have a good dark elf on my page!so who am I to so rudely tell you what to draw!?!

I love it,but...it's not exactly right i'm sorry to say.#1 she looks like a dark elf with blue eyes.Dark elves have pure white eyes, similar to that of a blind persons.Only it's even whiter. #2 gold is extremely soft.you could dent that armor with a hilt of a sword!you could tear through it like butter! #3 there is nothing left to say!it's beutiful!!!(other than the issues I just rudely brought up.) Don't get me wrong! My art sucks compared to your's!I'm just pointing some small but still slightly importent things!

and remember Drizzt Do'Urden of the R.A.Salvatore series had VIOLET eyes and he was dark/drow... not the traditional colour of eyes for his race, maybe this is teh same sort of situation

Id like to point out to this benjamin person who commented saying its wrong because the eyes arent the right color and whatnot....Its called FANTASY for a reason....Sci Fi and FANTASY.....fantasy allows anything....could be a regular run of the mill elf with eyes as red as blood or a dark elf/drow/night elf with eyes sky blue...
the drawing is fan-stinkin-tastic..keep it up!
any book ive read had dark elves who were run of the mill elves cast from the elven society because they didnt follow tradition, much like an Amish person excommunicated because they didnt follow Amish tradtions. OR dark elves/drow were an underground race of elves cast out many many years ago and had since adapted to have red, heat seeing eyes, white hair and black skin...some people draw their elves with those huge, pointed ears that flop about like a bunnies ears or they draw their elves with 'normal' ears that just come to a point....again,in that huge diversity we call FANTASY ANYTHING goes m'dear...

rant ended... *cookies to le arteest*
