> I don’t actually know much about this piece other than the fact I drew it. I was asked to do some concept work for a book called The Children of Joh (pronounced Joe), and so this was the product of that night.
There is apparently a group or race of fairies that are cannibals, and since I liked the idea (I also like the game Faire Meat, however) I decided to put pencil to paper and try my hand at how their facial structure would differ. I also just really wanted something to draw that night. Drawn with a .5mm blue drafting pencil and then over with details with a .5mm mechanical pencil.
