SciFi and Fantasy Art: The temple

The sketch for the temple was lying on my desk for nearly one year. Today I decided to color it because I thought I needed some practice in coloring with watercolours. But when I finished the temple (which came out better than I had expected), I thought that the picture looked too empty. So I drew the two spirits (earth and water^-^). This picture took me the whole day.. phew!

I can't believe this took you just one day, but then, there are those pictures which grab you and just won't let you go until they're done. ^_^ I think the spirits are nice too... Though the only thing which niggles me is that they're in the foreground in front of the temple, yet they still seem to be looking at it? Know what I mean? But even taking that into consideration this is one nice picture! Me likes! ^_^
