SciFi and Fantasy Art: Glade

i got the idea for this when watching a program on the inca's, i saw two trees in shadow framing a really bright clearing in the rainforest and the idea sprang from there. i really like forests and trees, you can feel a brooding life all around you. i wanted to capture it in this, and to make it seem like you were witness to something special. i dont know if i succeeded. i dont know why the owls appeared, but i think i was under the influence of harry potter, having just finished reading the books. this picture is very old now. i was going to delete it but i want to leave it up so it shows inspiration for my latest work which will be uploaded soon.

5 Dec 2003	Ano	Loading... Hey, I can see faces on the trees. Btw, is the light shining from BEHIND the horse or right on top of it? I thought the picture looked a bit odd (but good none the less) with out his shadow and a glimmer of light on the tree leaves. Good job.
