His eyes are also very intese, an interesting contrast to the man, who is looking elsewhere. The man looks interested, while the centaur looks protective, and because of the hand, like he's warning the man of something. Like the man is about to look up and see whoever is looking at the picture, and then... who knows? I love pictures that look like they have stories behind them, and this one certainly does.
