SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dream Silohuette

A bad attempt at drawing a female warrior with oriental type armour. Messed this one up quite well. Oh, well. Done on cardboard, with pencils H2-H9.

I rather like the expression, precisely because it is rather odd. The armour looks good, if not particularly oriental. I think her torso looks rather thin because her hips begin rather low, if her hip facing away from us started a bit higher it might fix the problem. Welcome back to Elfwood (a little late).

Bad attempt at armor my arse! But I guess most artists love to criticize their own work, eh? 12 Despite what you say, we all know how beautiful this is! I wish I could do armor even half as well. She has such a lovely face too! Thanks for the sweet comment on my gallery, btw =) Quite untrue, but it still brought a smile to my face!

you do absoulte wonderful pictures but im afriad that she going to break in two..your very good with anatomy, expression, design...if i list it all it will take up too much room. I like the armor and the face but the mid-section is a little scary( of course i prabably have no room to talk my pictures cant even compare to yours...I'm sure you did this on purpose..please dont take my words the wrong way..im not critising or trying not to, but i have to say that you have beautiful pictures!

U dunt give urself nearly enuf credit. The body is amazingly dun; very realistic. She jus looks like shes suckin her stomach in a lot n the hair n dark eyes- though also well done- seem like they belong on the body of an older woman. Overall kudos; i love ur style

Her eyes are so expressive, and the hair looks very well done! I don't want to criticize such a pretty piece (one of my favorites of yours!) but if I might suggest making her bum a bit larger to balance out the wide torso? Just an idea. And Di Vinci cut off his ear too? Van Gogh was the only one I ever heard about doing that (painted a portrait of him self right after too... and I thought I was weird!). Anyway, I love you work, and the armor designs are very nice on this one! Never have had the patience for it myself. I'll be checking back often!
