SciFi and Fantasy Art: Cliff Divers

Question; how does a dragon achieve lift off? they are big and heavy so it follows that they should need a very long flat runway but perhaps not; maybe they drop off a high point and gain the necessary speed at a rate of 32feet per second squared I made this one featuring Dragon#5 primarily to clear up the question of what colour it is. The photo I used in 'Nest Eggs' was off colour somehow and made her appear pink whereas she is in fact as red as I was able to make her.

Definitely a dramatic composition. So is that a CG cliff?

the truth is the cliffs started out as an ivey covered chimney in a parking lot in the heart of Kingston Ontario. I just altered it a mite 19)
