SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Murder of Arik

It had to be done. It was for the best, they said. The kingdom now was his. Yet for the rest of his life he would live with the memory of his brother's lifeless face asking him 'Why?'..............a glimpse into one of my numerous unfinished stories.

*sighs* ah... you know I think that for this particular picture the blurred clothing is perfect, if makes you concentrate more on the man's pose, you can feel his sorrow... and his self-hate by the taughtness of his hand on the murder weapon...

Is this story up? Really great pose, shows great remorse. Nice dagger, nice blood...

Great pose and composition. It's a bit on the fast and dirty looking side, and those two blues do not look good together. (In my humble opinion) Would love to read that story!

I think this picture has a lot of meaning and can have very different explanations I like how it leaves the viewer wondering... ^_~

Oops, I ran off without seeing the word unfinished. *pouts* I hope it's done soon.

I find it odd that the pose is so excellent, the visible skin is reasonably well detailed, yet the hair and robe are simply smeared and blurred. This is another one that reminds me of a photomanipulation gone awry.

Nice stuff, even without a big flashy picture or a lot of guns or people getting run-through with swords or...oh, yeah, I had a point with this. The picture has only minimal detail to what is necessary (which is very good, BTW), yet even wthout your little narrative at the top of the page, it tells a whole story all its own.

Oooh...I wanna know the end of that story...a really wonderful picture.

Hello from Fran' -artist- I've been hooked by this picture but when I watch it better, I'm bored enough because there is something too much "Theatrical". Something looks wrong when I watch the "blue" dress....That is only y opinion and no more...
best wishes -damagedcorpse-
