SciFi and Fantasy Art: Girl at the beach

In 1998, I visited the west coast of the United States. But I can’t remember that I have seen this kind of girls on those beaches. (1998, Pastels on ebony white velourpaper, 50cm x 130cm)

nice pic! not to be critical but her feet look a little to small for her legs, but what do I know? Good Job!

Yes her feet are underwater, but it took me a minute to relize that. Maybe a rippling effect would make it more obvious? Otherwise I think this pic is perfect.

This is a marvellous pic, that would be even better if her face was not so flat, her eyes were not so close together, and her leg was not so short. Keep trying though!

her lower proportions are way to small comparitively to her top half - especially for a women...

but otherwise, THATS PASTEL?!! holy crap - in my opinion, pastels are the hardest medium ever - they smear so easy, they get everywhere, and the colors always come out like a rainbow of darkened vomit....lol...

I like it. This reminds me of the paintings that you see on the side of WW2 airplanes. That may not have been your goal, but that is the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. Very nice.
