Chrystel and Nethiel from my online comic. Two pictures combined in an attempt to spare room. ;)

I think originally Nethiel used the pencil to underline things in the book. Now he's just chewing on it. I wonder if he's hungry...

Chrystel was originally created, when i saw a picture of a girl with large artificial curls. Granted, not as long as the ones Chrystel has here, but her original design sketches showed her with some very artificial curls. That design failed miserably. First of all, I was not capable of making such curls back in 2001. More importantly, they simply did not fit Chrystel. She's just not a girl who'd spend tons of time daily on her hair. It's a funny little background detail, though. And I had fun refering to it in this picture. ;)

Chrystel is so fair... She's even paler than Stereotype Angel, and that's saying a lot.
