SciFi and Fantasy Art: Earth Meld

Inspired by White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade. Obviously a Gangrel with the Earth Meld ability (Duh) just a sketch that's crappily shaded because I couldn't be bothered to finish it. Maybe one day I'll do a proper job with more than my stupid HB mechanical pencil :) Done around 12/98

Hey...her hands are really neat, they're so well drawn. Good job. And her hair also. Nice.

Fabulous pic! I don´t know the opposite to "crappily" as u called it, but this is really "un-crappily"! Fabolous that is! 2

:-) Rosemary Jennifer Wong replies: "Um...un-crappyily....maybe it'd be...uh...non-crap? lol I don't know honestly. I guess I'm not happy with it because I rarely draw darker pics and hence it's not as polished as my cutsy stuff...but thanks for the nice comment 2"

the hands, their position and execution, and her expression (greatly aided by more than half of it being hidden by hair) are what really make this peice. (Is she coming or going, hmmm) I think this would be really kick butt if you Photoshopped it. Dark wine reds and black... It'd be fairly easy. I have some hair tools and know a really good hair tutorial that will let you keep that dry, coarse, stringy look you have going that I like so much if you want them. Drop me an email and I'll set you up!

You know, the more I look at it the more I see a Lucy Lawless/Betty Page thing going with the hair! lol I like!!

:-) Rosemary Jennifer Wong replies: "Oooh cool lemme know about that tutorial! I don't know if I'll be colouring this one, lack of time lately killing off the drawing time and I have a webcomic that needs to be finished before I can go back and colour old pictures >.."
