| 1 Aug 2000 | Sci12 | It looks like the water is really rippling. I love how the reflection in the water is done. It's a great island too. | |
| 10 Feb 2001 | Phillip Williams | I like the drawing itself but one problem, the Ancient Egyptions wrote of how Atlantis shown with the bright walls of alabaster stone. So that means that the land there would have to be more of a sand looking texture. Does this really take any skill when using bryce? I don't have Bryce but it seems that alot of people can draw landscapes but none of them can draw faces and what not, so does bryce have a special feature on it that allows the landscapes? | |
| 30 Mar 2001 | Apache | Lovely island - however, it looks kinda small. Of course, the endless horizon and sky (perfectly executed) would naturally dwarf even the biggest islands - especially one looked at from 14 000 feet altitude... The one thing that makes it look small, is the ripples. These are very good, but not scaled according to the apparent size of the island, in my opinion. Real life wavetrains will change character as they pass over shallower waters, and will also curve around obstacles in their paths. If you would like to (in my opinion, again) improve this picture, take a closer look at what happens when the waves break upon the beaches, and the patterns that occur around island. Now, was that a serious, meaningful comment (I hope so...) | |

| 3 Dec 2005 | Jani | " the Ancient Egyptions wrote of how Atlantis shown with the bright walls of alabaster stone" Who is saying this should be according to some Egyptians' opinion? And, in fact, the truth in this matter might be very different than the story of the Egyptians. Atlantis was, in reality, a place ruled by Atlant who was extraterrestrial - just a human being, anyway. | |
