SciFi and Fantasy Art: Korin

He is Korin, one of my oldest characters, i consider him the dark side of me. He is a half-drow elf, son of a dark elf and a female wood elf. He is a great warrior and a very dangerous with magic spells... it sounds very tipical, doesn`t it? :) Nevertheless, he is an strange guy, you can never expect what he can do, even his closest friends can´t. Neither he can...

He looks like he has a taste for revenge on someone. I love revenge.

God to me a males face is much more difficult than a females face so very nice work!

VERY good job. he looks really SCARY. I won't like him to be my enemy... or even my friend!

OMG the look on his face reminds me of The Nameless One, from the game Plane Scape - Torment.

I've never seen a colouring technique like this. It's very crisp, sharp, and effective. His bitterness makes me sad, because he must also be very broken.

Wow, this is amazing. The blue sketching on the red backgroung looks really effective. I always find that it's easier to rough sketch raw emotion like that, it always looks fakey when I finish! Well done, he's awesomely scary.

1 Roberto Raba replies: "Yeah, i think the same, the pencil most of times is stronger than finished pictures to depict emotions!"

hey... do ya take requests?? if ya do... could you draw Marak form "the hollow kingdom trilogy" ... he's the goblin King...(i know... i sound like a nerd, don't i?)

I would love to be able to do my own version of him. Would you consider a trade? He fastinates me, the planes of his face, the expression, the obvious malice . . . It’s lovely!

1 Roberto Raba replies: "Thanks! You can do a version of this if you want, i would love to see it. ^_^ But everyway, i think you missunderstand the expression. It is not malice, is hate. It´s different. Korin have been always out of society, and he hates it, specially human society. He is not evil, he is too wise for that, he simply dislikes people."
