SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fight at the glacier

Inspired in a picture made by Daniel R. Horne wich i like a lot, this picture is a battle between a fighter tired and wounded and a skeleton who appeared on the snow. I don´t know why, but the original picture from Mr. Horne kept my attention during hours (could be because it was on the cover of my school notebook when i was at highschool ^_-), and i think that it was really great, because i wanted the girl to win, but... she wasn´t in a good situation! In my case, the girl have it easier, but not too much... I will colour this probably...

Nice drawing! her position is beautiful and original, but the whole work is! I like the shades you've done on her legs the most! ^^

It good, but you need to work on your hands and how she is gripping her weapons. When gripping something the hand does not form a complete fist, as you have shown. To the novince this picture is very nice, and the skeleton's weapon wielding is acurate, but I just thought I'd let you know about the hands thing. My advice, have someone hold something in their hands and study how the thumb is in accordance with the other fingers. But as for the rest of it, nicely done, I love it!

I think this one is great. I love the way that this scary looking zombie viking thing is coming at her and she looks at it with no more than an annoyance. Great picture!

Maybe you care, maybe you don't, I know i hated tips, but they help...Her arms are too short. Good legs. Cool skeleton however, i've never done one of those. Seems hard. Chest a little lopsided. Try looking at a female friend to get the proportions for a female body. But yes, like the pic a lot.

:-) Roberto Raba replies: "Now that you mention, i agree about the left arm, is really short, and i haven´t noticed before... but the right one is ok i think... Thanks for the comment."
