SciFi and Fantasy Art: The witch of the Great Spirit

The main figure of the cover of CGS (see Elves of the Great Spirit), a witch on a cave making a spell in front of a bonfire after drawing magical symbols on the floor. Well, you have to imagine some of the things i said, but they are here ^___^ Again, pencil and photoshop.

Your witch is stunning, original and seen from a very unique point of view. She must practice yoga in addition to magic as she appears very flexible. Really outstanding job.

Eeeeeeeh. *jaw falls* Perspective! What an absolutely brilliant angle to pull off. I love her garb - almost primitive and tribal at the same time, without being clichéd. The rune-stones are a lovely touch. And once again the colouring rocks. *another first comment boogie*

Great drawing. I think the lighting is my favourite part. I also like the way you did the ground: it has great texture. Do you think of meaning for the symbols (on the ground or her tatoos), or do they just pop out onto the page in an organic way?

1 Roberto Raba replies: "Thanks! Yes, i like the ground too, at the beggining i was thinking in doing it with a 3d program, but then i thought that mixing it with a picture could be out of place. And about the runes and tatoos, in this picture in particular they have no meaning, the ones she had are protective tatoos and theones in the floor are for a spell..."

This is my favorite piece of your place here. Mod's choice worthy I'd say.
