SciFi and Fantasy Art: Forest

A female warrior and her pet posing for us in the forest. I don't remember where this idea came from. I think one day I was sketching and I hjad put togheter a woman and a monster.. side by side and then the 'light-bulb turned on above my head' and there it was. I think it required me about 4 or 5 days to be done. As for almost all my other oil paintings I sketched the monster until satisfied on transparent paper, then I photgraphed a model and after putting them togheter I transferred the draiwing on canvas and started painting. I'm satisfied of the final result.

Also, is it because of the reduced size that one eye looks a bit strange and the other closed? Your work is great. Mine, in comparison, is a few scratchings on paper Take care.
