enjoys drawing dragons, elves and some realistic pictures. She mostly gets her ideas from other people's art. She decided that it was time to show to her art to others and give them inspiration to draw as she has gotten from others on Elfwood. She had had a little artist's block for a while and thought this would help get her artistic juices flowing again and help her to improve her art through comments from viewers. Most of her inspiration in art comes from a beautiful red sunset or a person that passes by...'I could have swore they were elven.' she says (lol) Basically anything in the real world she can make fantasy except for school...Unless she could draw her teachers as orcs... Well anyway if anyone wishes to learn more about her or wishes to give her some pointers she'd appreciate it. She always answers her mail.

5 Apr 2001	Tanis	Loading... You need to look at things differently, like from an unusual perspective. Don't try to draw things as they are but find your own style to use. No one can truly teach you how to draw, you have to teach yourself...I think that's one of the things alot of artists struggle over.

Albrecht	Loading... tips? ignore those Philistines and practice, practice, practice. no one starts out as a great artist. i see tons of talent waiting to emerge. don't be afraid to experiment. also, a hint that no one told me but you might find useful: draw only what you SEE, not what the object IS. i'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.
