SciFi and Fantasy Art: Critters 1

This is Dydyl the ralidan (Izurnadis ralidani)from a parallel universe. Her kind are of the Klagosian order, but, have a different evolutionary history. She is usually thought of by her owner as 'He', and is basically an alien falcon. Dydyl has retracting venomous spines on her belly which subdue prey--usually small birds and gliding lizards. Dydyl can catch fish, but, is usually an avian type hunter. Dydyl makes a silken nest similar to that of certain spiders. Ralidans are very intelligent, about the IQ of a Crow.

OOH!! I've always wanted a crow for a pet, but this puts crows to shame.

Sounds like you have a lot to say about ravens. For some reason, this little critter looks like she's trying to sneak into a cookie jar. ( ;

No offence, but it looks like a grounded Wyvern...*forgot to walk away*

I'm from a place just a little bit closer (170,000 ly Dir=LMC) ~ unfortunately, my particular ill fated colony ship blundered across this wretched little planet about 35,000 years ago. ( Now why couldn't it have been Pern instead?*sobs bitterly over the injustice of fate* ) For a short time we even had quite a civilization, but, the Human body type we are forced to inhabit is equipped with such a thick, crude, slow, and primitive brain, that; over consecutive life times most of us have forgotten the truth of our origins. okay! Erm. Another uncommented picture by me, and it seems it not the last one. So I'll make a pause again and then come back later... how are you always able to do the architecter so fine? It looks exactly like I would love to give my picture scenes the right look.... I could get jealous on your talent when it comes to this! Really! Erm. Yes, the creasture is also quite... nice... it looks like a really friendly little pet. Is it?
