SciFi and Fantasy Art: ~STRAK & DARG~

These two are mentioned in the story about Spot. They are V'lolden's childhood pets. A pair of Brentonian Struthies (Struthy brentoni) Not the brightest of critters, but, companionable enough. Here they are shown in the basement of the Uncle's house with its slightly luminous floor tiles. I drew this not too long after the Wolf-Cat drawings back in 1993. The one in front is Darg who is Female. Strak is male. It was the very best dinosaur drawing I ever did in terms of my specific characters. Aren't they just gorgeous?
