SciFi and Fantasy Art: ~MONSTER FURBALL~

This is my newest Sketch of the domesticated variety of Tahrlangosus (Andrewsarchus gigas) {A direct descendant of Andrewsarchus mongoliensis} which is common in Sharaulni as a Burden beast and Hunter~Tracker. I'm still not all that much better at the Humanoid form, but, I had to try in order to give some idea of scale. This nightmarish beast is more Wolf-like than Bear-like as the result of both Evolution and about five million years of careful Selective Breeding. I will be reworking this drawing sometime later to make it more realistically styled. Right now it's kind of 'Anime' ' styled.

Your Saber-Toothed Cat Monster looks scarier, but, THIS is probably more dangerous?

Aww, das is cute! I like the creature here, its nicely detailed and stylized... make sure to experiment with others styles to though, so that you can find one and hopefully make it your own.

1 Eric R. Vondell ~ 'Tralfaz Aquilleon' replies: "Cute?...He's a three ton carnivorous monster....He might have been Cute as a kitten, but, fully grown, he's supposed to be scary!...I am experimenting, right now with the ideas of manga and anime' for use in possible future pulications in real space. If I can just improve my simplification process. I tried before, years ago. Even learned to simplify and cartoon style my creatures, but, I just lost that over time. I wanted to make my creatures seem more realistic and scientific. Wrong path it now seems!*hehe*..Now I see that I should have done more with that Manga method. But, I am aware that I need to experiment with all sorts of styles and media. "

An Andrewsarchus as a pet! That is a nice idea... after I saw one on a dinosaur Exhibition I am though not so sure if it would be a very good idea... but this one looks really peaceful!

Cool pic. Andrewsarchus had tiny hooves on the ends of its toes like primitive horses instead of claws though. In the future they might have turned into actual hooves or something like them. Just wanted to say.
