SciFi and Fantasy Art: ~NEW 'MANGA' THEAVARO~

OK, So maybe it's not quite 'Manga' per say, but it's not Anime' either. Theavaro was born way back in late 1977 as an 'Imaginary Friend' I invented to satisfy my Child Shrink. He has since 'Evolved' quite a lot. Especially in recent years! (See other Theavaro pictures for details). This was drawn a day or so after the Heiroglyphs--and is in their overly simplified style...It's the very first time I have ever put Feathered Wings on any representation of my Theavaro Character. But, somehow they just 'Feel' right for this version of the character. I am learning how to simplify my character's looks so that I can draw them, consistently & quickly, in a comic strip. Theavaro and the Tairlanga are my oldest personal imaginaries. Both going back to late 1977 early 1978 for their origins! So it is understandable that they mean a lot to me.

7 Apr 2004	Dora T.	Loading... Aaaawwwwwwww. He's sooooooo Cute! I like the way you made him. Ant the name thing. "Theavaro the Theavarian". No I wouldn't call it "Manga" but it's similar to Manga. Like a mix of Manga with Anime and your own unique style.
