SciFi and Fantasy Art: ~'TWO' CLOSE~

I had lost this and forgotten about it until just a couple months ago. It's old 1990-91?. Well it was almost destroyed in 1994 along with other working drawings and junk writtings. I rescued it from the flames and tore off the burned edges. It depicts a pair of fabricated sauropods which were derived from the genetic materials of Emus, Chickens, and Crocodiles. They were originally intended for use as food animals and egg layers that would be easier to work with than were Rattites. They failed as alternative livestock, but, became popular in rural areas as 'ornamental pets' (Like Peafowl) who would eat Kudzu! The pair were drawn individually and then merged into this singular drawing. They almost look like a two headed monster don't they. The drawing is small so I had to enlarge it. Please let me know if you like them. OK?

Tres neat. I think it would be cool to have a pair of croco-chickens as pets. You get the benefits of having cats and chickens with none of the drawbacks. These guys eat mice, lay eggs, and don't scare themselves (I would imagine).

Well, It does seem that you've been drawing these things as feathered for a long time. Nifty idea and way ahead of its time. WOW! This is a really great drawing, looks just like it could have come from a real book on dinosaurs...errr. um....future dinosaurs. Hey It kinda reminds me of the "Hen & Rooster" logo on my pocket knife! Cool!

I am very glad you had been able to save some of those old pictures from destruction. There are really great ideas beneath them, as this one. Though I think the legs look somehow a little big, I like the heads very much. But Brachiosaurus has also big feet, on the other hand....
