SciFi and Fantasy Art: Cross of Saint George

There is an english tale in which is about Saint George. In the story a dragon is appeased by being fed 2 sheep a day. Well, soon the sheep are gone and the next sacrifice is... you guessed it.. the king's daughter! But, the hero, Saint George, came and stunned the dragon with his spear and then used the princess' girdle to drag the dragon down to the town where it was beheaded. This is the cross which is used to remind all of Saint George's bravery and accomplishment. Mechanical Pencil. *UPDATE*- Redrawn and colored in Photoshop.

28 Mar 2002	Jade	Loading... Does the first comment dance I like it.....I like almost all crosses but you rarely see the dragons. If you would of gave the cross more design it would look great but if you dom't want to it's otay! ^-^ Rory Rezzelle replies: "I think that I might add a few engravings to the cross. The idea of the dragon around the cross came to me when I was looking at a magazine and saw a boxw that had the so-called St. George's Cross on it. It looked ok, but, I thought, I can do better. So, here it is. And it looks good, too!"
