SciFi and Fantasy Art: The East Wind

I did this picture over February break, when it was cold and wet out. I wanted to make a picture that would make me think of the nice dry heat. This is meant to be a personification of the east wind. It brings with it heat, the smell of exotic spice and insence, and dry sandy air. I used some Middle Eastern type themes and really like the result. Pen and watercolor. 1999 (This piece is now in the collection of Dr. Steve Amira of Newton, MA)

In French : c'est vraiment très très bien, les couleur sont magnifiques, le trait très exact, c'est totalement bien senti...en plus, c'est une bonne idée (furthermore, it is a good idea) ! so, bravo ! (congratulations) !
