| 11 Nov 2001 | Troy L. Megli | A very nice design Rachel, I'm not sure what the celtic name would be but the greek name for him is Boreas. His brothers... Eurus, Notus & Zephyrus are the other winds east, south & west respectfully. I really like how you've made him look like he's "floating"! Seems approprieate, like he's about to sweep down across some valley or sea! Rachel E. Ross replies: "I didn't pattern it off of any mythology (nor did I intend to) - and it's a GIRL! I did know that the Celtic design really doesn't fit with the traditional um, nationality (?) of the wind. " | |
| 18 Nov 2001 | Sarah J Carpenter | I really like this...it's very art-deco in style, especially the hair (and I really love the hair *S*) It has a kind of mean look to the face, which certainly fits with the "wind" persona. I love it! And I love the celtic designs on the cloak *S* I've never been able to draw knotwork... | |
| 24 Nov 2001 | Stavros Tsiakalos | Hmm cold north wind. I thinks thats who was blowing all the dust in my eyes today...or was it the east wind. Not sure. Guess I should look forward to the south wind, though that always carries sand from Africa with it and the whole city is covered in mud when it rains. Sorry got carried away, but the windin the drawing remindd me of the cold wind howling outside my window | |
| 4 Apr 2002 | Christine Darlin Berry | I love how you did the fabric here, all rippling in the wind. And the celtic design in the moon, and how her hair intertwines together in a celtic like fashion. Also, I really like how you colored her gem on her headset, its beautiful. AND .. heh .. also I liked how you signed the picture with the 2 Rs. One last thing, honestly, the shape of the stars on her cape reminds me of the star buddy's in carebears. -_^ | |
