SciFi and Fantasy Art: Buddha Fairy

I drew the original for a co-worker...she wanted it for her daughter's room......she said 'draw me a pretty fairy, you decide what she looks like.' so, I wracked my brain, and said 'A fairy sitting on a mushroom, and smiling happly!' and she replied 'she's on a mushroom, I bet she's happy!' and made the universal drug user trippy face......and so...I developed the Buddha ::coff*smoking*coff:: fairy. For my own copy, I gave ehr a trippy background, then used the airbrush to blur the edges

Oh, Kate I love it!!! Oh, and *does first-comment happy dance* I love those wings! They look transparent! Her expression is very amusing... you can just see those toxins coarsing through her system... the pose and shirt are really cool, too. Heck, even the ears and hair rock, you're getting too good, Kate!!! *grin*

It's an interesting concept for a fairy. I mean, if there are fairies for so many other things ... one question, though. Does she -have- another leg? She's a fairy, and doesn't have to, but it's a little disconcerting without one.Insert of arist thought here- she does have another leg- it's crossed under her...maybe I should define it more?

*That explains everything(no not really) yeah it does(not really)* Ignore the previous it was just my braincells talking to the braincells properly known as dead. I actually walked through your forest and met your fairy. I think she is great and the world needs a little bit of buddha in their lives. So here's to Buddha and here's to your fairy. I like her and good capture of the psychedelics and anime mix.

What's Buddhist about this? If you are saying that drugs and Buddhism go hand-in-hand, then shame on you.
