SciFi and Fantasy Art: Boredom is dangerous

I think that everyone here has made a very good point. Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder, and every body type has its own beauty within it. The "stick w/ tits" is so overused that its refreshing to see something besides it. The "ideal" weight is so unrealistic that only the terminally ill can be it. I am not overweight, but i think that more people who are should be seen for who they are and not what they weigh. Hey, Keep up the good work and lets see some experiments w/ different sizes and shapes of characters.

Once again this wonderful artist's comment page has wandered away from the art at hand and towards driveling discussions........are we forgetting yet again that this is a FANTASY site? that means that all statistics and general rules and principals of the real world at hand do not apply to anything here...unless the artist wants it to......this is an awesome pic.....the chubbiness suits the character....(which...BTW if you people noticed by the title..is a result of boredom) she wouldnt look right thin....i think it is adorable...kudos to the artist.........

Ok, had to throw in my opinion here... Ok, if you're un-comfortable with the way you look, then I think you should try to change it. If you aren't then don't, unless your health is in danger in which case you need to do something. I don't think it's 'bad' to be plump or fat, lots of my friends are overweight and YES they ARE over weight not as in 'plump but as in it's not healthy how over weight they are. They tell me I am 'such a stick.' I'm not, I'm my normal body weight. I think that if you're 'OVER-WEIGHT' as in BAD health DO soemthing about it. I don't like that I have un-toned muscle. I'm going to do something about it. Be who you are, but be open to change! Now, for the picture... I like the body and the hair and the eyes... I don't like the ears that much... 7 out of ten.

My goodness...am I at leisure to say I just like the picture? She makes me think of a high-ranking courtesan who knows her power, both over the people she serves and over the people lower then her, and isn't afraid to flaunt it.

Oh. Also cute and fluffy! Hehehe...

*ROFL!* I can just imagine this was what my overly plump bunny was thinking of herself until I had to put her on a diet. Don't get me wrong. I'm about that plump too! But for Suzie it was a health hazard, she needed to lose weight or lose her life early. She's still a chubby bunny, but not like she used to be. And she STILL thinks she's hot stuff! Beautiful BEAUTIFUL picture. Keep breaking the rules, m'dear. You're so good at it!

Great pic! I agree with English_Chocolate. I'm an FA, and I'll take a fat girl over a skinny girl anyday! My only criticism with your pick is that her belly button looks like a skinny girl's. It should be horizontal instead of vertical because of her belly.
