SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragons of Desert, Rainforest, Plain

I like to draw dragons with interesting markings, instead of just going all wierd with spikes and funny colors like everyone else does (sure, I do that, too. But! I also draw *markings* on my dragons, instead of just monochrome hides). Hence Seth's white paws, and Tashtego's stripes, and Omadon's eye-spot.

An idea zipped into my head at one point to draw dragons with the markings of real animals like antelopes, and I was then mercilessly encouraged by Liz until I did so. From left to right, the original base antelope species are greater kudu, gemsbok, and bongo. Savannah, desert, rainforest.

Someone said they should be called neodragons. I agree.

Nice disney dragons! NOT! Those so called "Neadragons"-or what ever they mutated into- are going to leave me retarded for life! Did you really draw those or did you find them in walt disney's grandma's shredder?

When you have an answer i'll be banging my head into a car door knowing i'll be having nightmares for the next millenium or two. c ya.

*STARTS BANGING HEAD INTO CAR WITH MOUTH FOAMING BECAUSE IS NOW MENTALLY ILL*

Okay, before I comment on this beautiful piece... Masoj & mentally ill freak, you both are rather stupid. Quite stupid, actually. Go read a book on antelope and stay out of the Woods!

AHHH! I love this! These species are some of my favorites, besides the Sable Antelope (would be a beautiful Neodragon!) and Sitatunga and such. 1 I think the Sitatunga looks too much like a Bongo for you to do one of those, though. Ee! Antelopey dragons! I'm wild about antelope, and these are just perfect! 1

Ur pictures look like horses with wings.. I like the fuzzy wing idea.. Can they actuallyf ly? Do u name all of ur dragons? Do they breathe fire or do they talk like people? It would be cool if they talk like people.. Can u draw a person really hairy with a marking ? Cool stuff i wanna see more

Oh, these are just adorable! I find the idea of antelope-like dragons to be awesome! It reminds me of a deer-dragon I once drew! Glad I'm not the only one! Keep up the good work!

For some reason these adorable little guys remind me of the animals off 'The Lion King'. of course these are a lot cuter!
