SciFi and Fantasy Art: Acta Sarcodina

This is Proteus. He's an anthropomorphic ameboba. Why? Well, because a) no one said the animal whose characteristics were incorporated had to be either a vertebrate *or* multicellular, b) because I can, and c) because I'm strange. He's awfully cute for an asexual protist, anyway.

Proteus got a roughly human shape and multicellularity from his human side, although all his cells are ameoboid; hence the gooey ooziness. You've essentially got a slime mold with better control, and a pale blue, rather translucent body - an effect I'll need to inquire about how to do before I ever put a color version up. I have no idea what he's reaching for.

I absolutely love it! The feeling of the character *dripping* to the ground is quite strong. Great character!

Oh yeah, guess I need to do some sort of dance?
*gets jiggaly with it*
