SciFi and Fantasy Art: Celestial WesAsian

On a night that was clear and filled with the heavans pouring star light from above.

A storm rolled in fast and battered the Celestial Dragon. Lost, Dazzed and Alone the dragon flew for what he thought was home. Landing on what seemed a desserted long beach in the cool moring myst. He fell into a slumber from exhuastion and starvation. He woke from a troubled sleep to find Humes tending to some wounds and cleaning his golden hair. While Western Reds came in with baskets full of fresh fish to feed him.

From his understanding Western Reds where solitary, mad with rage, quick to kill. But these didn't seem like what he was lead to beleave. The Celestial Dragon fell in love with one of the Reds for she took care of him the most and spent time sharing stories. From their brood came a WesAsian. Holding both traits a bit of a temper and devotion of his father.

Done in watercolor and water color pencils with a touch ok black ink. 2007.

Thank you to NeonDragon for the tips in her book. With out it I would not have pulled this picture off.

I really think this is a wonderful picture, the form of the dragon is very unique and the colour really pulls everything together, not to mention that the actual layout of the picture itself is brilliant, i kid you not it looks like a professional print, great work! Samantha CrystalBlueDragon James replies: "Thank you very much. I tried to bring the asian dragon and the western dragon together in the dragon. NeonDragons book helped with some of the asian portions. I hadn't looked at my picture that way... Wow... Thank you for making my day. I hope that I keep making more that look professional.big hugs"
