SciFi and Fantasy Art: B.r.e.a.t.h.e.You know, usually I hate titles punctuated like that, being a language purist at heart, but I needed something that drew the words out longer, and putting all those fullstops in seems to do that. And that's important, because one of the reasons I really like that pose is that the two figures both look like they're inhaling, and I wanted the title to reflect that.
The two figures (both MEN by the way) are Lucifel (my rp character version of him, not the bible one), and Pain, the judgement angel who belongs to Jessica 'mistressofspam' Douglas. These two are the most evil duo about, despite the fact they look like light and dark personified. They are violent lovers, partners in crime, master and slave, brute strength and cunning. They complement each other exceptionally well, and you don't want to cross either of them, even on a good day.
And they are both drop dead gorgeous.

Pencil on wine cardstock which was waaay too furry for pencil work, hence the reason its not as smooth as I'd have liked, but not a bad thing per se. |

 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 24 Nov 2005 | Nici 'Ronan' Jackson | I must say the "furriness" adds to it like nothing else could.. it makes it almost shimmery, like a moment you're not meant to see, but still caught a glimpse of anyway, and once it's gone, you're not sure you really saw it. Your anatomy skills are fabulous.. thank you for sharing such beautiful artwork. Sam 'Zephyri' Hogg replies: "Thank you Nici for such a lovely comment, and apologies for the late reply! I've come to accept the fluffiness of the picture as something positive now, so I dont mind it as much." | |

| 25 Oct 2006 | Naomilynn | Wow-this is so cool. I love the colors-I love the shading. This is deep. Don't we all kind of feel that way? Like, we're good inside, and yet we're not. We still do the things we don't want to do. We still do bad stuff. Does this make sense? | |

| 8 Sep 2007 | James | I just love this type of Artistry. I too, have a fascination with male Angels and the ones in my stories are always lover. I think that there is not a more perfect concept than the idea of two Gay Angels. I may sound weird, but I do not care, thank you for your wonderful drawing XXXX | |
| 8 Feb 2008 | Mackenzie Taylor | This piece is incredible. The artistry, the emotion, the storyline behind it... absolutely beautiful in every way! I love how they are described as evil and yet here we see them in a peaceful, intimate moment; it shows how the lines between horror and beauty can often become blurred. | |
