SciFi and Fantasy Art: Morgan

Morgan is Lisa's older brother, and the heir to... er, the country I haven't named yet. The Lion is their symbol, so I stuck it in there because it looked too empty. Think he looks cool with that sword? boy are you wrong. Morgan is sweet and well meaning, but he's not too bright, and despite ten years of training, he still has no idea how to use that sword. Every one who knows him well is dreading the day the king dies and Morgan takes over. Good thing Lisa is around to tell him what to do.

Great picture! I saw the lion in the thumbnail and thought, "Aslan?!! Is it Aslan?!?" (Chronicles of Narnia!!) but it's not. But I definitely give you props for successfully drawing a lion! The boy's armour is lovely... I love all the detail you've put into and how you've added highlights to some of the smallest things (like the gold things on his shirt). Keep up the great work!

Very nice. I'm especially fond of his earring and his armour. I must admit that I too thought it was Peter and Aslan at first. I also see the Godric Gryffindor part of him, and that includes the character description. (Though I picture Gryffindor being blond.) All in all I'd say it's truly wonderful!

Yep, does look pretty harry potter-like, but it's still really good.

A miniature lion! Beautiful costume. This kid has been studying sword-work for a decade? Doesn't look much older than 10 himelf, to me, but I am a notoriously bad judge of age...

Did you say he was Lisa's older brother? He looks younger to me.
The Lion adds a great effect and is also quite beautiful.

It reminds me a little of Gryffindor but mostly of some king of Narnia and Aslan. Great picture! Love the red coloring!

Interesting enough, I was just looking at pictures a missionary friend of mine did, (I think her name is Kelsey or Chelsey but I know her last name is Garrity) and there was this picture of Constantine (I think it was Constantine) but he had that earing and he was looking up, and Kelsey said that another artist did some of the pictures (they were for a homeschool curriculum) and I was wondering if it was you, or if you copied the picture because it was a good picture.

16igh: I reference Harry Potter too much. Well I will go ahead and say this looks like a young Godric Griffindor and I love it.
