SciFi and Fantasy Art: Vanity Fair

My efforts to draw an original bishonen-type in an original anime-ish style continue! I'm getting closer, I think -there's only a few little things I see wrong with this, and they don't detract too much. Actually, I like this guy as much for his expression as anything else; it's vaguely devious without being actually *evil* looking. Kind of a leer. Me likey! ^_^ I also like his Spanish 'big-poofy-feather' inspired hat combined with the much less civilized body paint (and lack of proper full-body-covering clothing *cough cough*) He's gone native, 'e 'as! Native what has yet to be determined. So has his name, but I am going to give him one, because I've already had someone tell me I *have* to do more with him. Orders, you see. But it has to be a good name! Any suggestions?

Now, I"m no expert, everything I know about Macross comes from one mini-series type thing I saw on TV -that one with Sharon Apple and the testing prototype mech things and all the pretty sparkly computer effects- but man, that was good art! 1 Oct 2002	Sarah Catherine Eccles	Loading... Oooh! Nabs him for her harem. Very nice. I love the hat and the look, wish I could draw like that. I you want a little constructive criticism, I think that the tatoos look a little too 'drawn on' and could do with some finer shading, but seriously, I think it's a wonderful picture. And yes, he's beautiful!

Uh, the only thing I see that could use some tweaking are the fact that his eye is a bit big and sharp for the rest of the face, and that his hair line is a bit high, but other than that.... Awesome picture. I like the feather. Keep up the good work
