Though I have seen a lot of pictures depicted this very scene, I think this is by far the best, and it captures the everything I imagined on reading it.

I think you’ve really captured this famous scene exactly how Tolkien (and I) saw it in his mind. I can actually feel the night breeze making the trees sway, and blowing Luthien’s starry mantle gently in the air, and like Jan said, if you listen really carefully, you can hear the piper playing as the Princess of Doriath dances under Varda’s stars, and as she is first beheld by her destined love, Beren, Son of Barahir. I will definitly check out the rest of your work, because these picture shows how really talented you are.
