SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ashley doing watercolor???

Scary, I know. PLEASE be kind about this. It is my VERY first attempt with watercolor and I know I have more than a long way to go. It's unfinished because I got discouraged, but I need some kind of color in my gallery...so...here ya go. I hate the tree and my scanner did a number on the whole thing. Please keep in mind that it is unfinished. Advice is appreciated; criticism is not. Original is 9x12.

24 Dec 2005	Ali	Loading... I like the pic and concept and it's great for a first attempt. You might want to try layering the paint A LOT! or combine it with other medias (but that can get a little tricky because the paint acts a little different). I Love the wrinkles/folds in her dress. If you keep up the depth with the entire painting, it'll look even better!
