SciFi and Fantasy Art: Drow Sorceress

Her name is Sil'Shaerin, Mistress of the Night. I did a preliminary sketch with coloured pencil, and then retouched it using Photoshop. The intention was for the finished piece to look something like a tarot-card image, hence the leaf border. I'm really pleased with the way she turned out.

(thats the name of a deck) she also looks perhaps like some really powerful voodoo priestess Artist's comment: Actually I did have the idea of a tarot in my mind when I did this picture hence the border. I don't know why, but this image came to me complete, in my mind, and it was as though I was looking at it on a card.
