| 1 Jun 2004 | Sarah Lee Williamson | Er, I don't really aprove of homosexuality, but they are cute together. They are very well drawn and handsome. Poor guy has his hand cut off! What happened to him? And his pants are undone! Good anatomy study. Sarah-Louise Mitchell replies: "His enemy (Morgoth) hung him from a mountain with a shackle of unbreakable iron. His friend tried to rescue him but the only way to free him from the shackle was to cut off his hand. And, thankyou for the compliments. The pose was copied from a photograph. " | |
| 11 Sep 2004 | Suzuka_13 | MMm....Sexy. ^_^ I feel sorry for the guy with the lost hand, though. Poor man. I hope Fingon can make him feel better. Great artwork. | |
| 12 Oct 2004 | Nin | I'm going insane, and not in a good way. Does anyone believe in platonic values, or must everything be suspect? No critism of you, becuase you're entitled to you own opinions, but why all the slash? I'm asking you becuase you are obviously familiar with the Silmarillion and with Maedhros and Fingon in particular, and I hope you'd be enlightened enough not to yell at me. I am not being sarcastic, but am truly trying to find an answer to this question. I am, as you may have noticed, quite out of touch with the 21st century and it's values.

| 1 May 2005 | Mengyuan Sun | In reply to Nin's question. I don't know what other girls think, but I know that I like a bit of slash because it is exotic and exciting. To me it is not something practical; it is an ideal that good looking boys/men can sometimes cross the boundary between friendship into love. It appeals to me. | |
| 20 Feb 2006 | Maedhros the Unihanded | Wow! All those years of suspected love and i never noticed Fingon was black! Love clearly is blind. Now about my pants, it seems i've lost some weight, and um, perhaps i'm a size smaller. Whatever the case, i believe it would help if they were tied, for they appear to be falling off. I can see my remaining hand attempting to hoist them up, but i dont believe i can properly tie them in my...situation. Is Fingon helping me? | |
| 12 Oct 2006 | Ivy Greenwell | I liked the picture. As for the "slash", love is love, no matter what form it takes. Is it so horrible that two men or two women could find love and contentment and happiness with each other? With all that we have going on in our world right now, I think we have plenty to concentrate on besides someone else's personal relationship. Embrace love, whevere it comes from. Namaste, Ivy | |
