SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Glade

In a secret forest glade, where a waterfool tumbles into a crystal pool surrounded by trees I saw a white horse come to drink from the water. As I approached, it spread from its shouders a pair of white feathered wings, and it flew away over the trees...

The pegasus simply bursts forth from the image like a streak of pure white sunlight. The wings are perfect! I am totally awed by this masterly feat in watercolours!! BRAVO!!!

*hopes that no one comes to her house with torches and pitchforks because she has a few critizing things to say (in good-taste though!)* I love the wings and the background is beautiful! But.. well.. his front legs look really little and his head way to big. Kinda like he was born w/out a neck. But other than that, I really like! Great colors. ^^

Um... what can I say other then... WOW! You used the media quite to your advantage here! I love the winged equine. It's gorgeous (Gods help me if I can spell that right)

Does anyone else see the lady in the waterfall? **looks around nervously** She looks to me like some water elemental rising up to meet the pegasus. beautiful picture!

I saw the lady in the waterfall too. At first I thought it was supposed to be the person, but I realized it was the water. I love the wings on the pegasus!! Really awesome!! Keep up the good work!

I think I've finally realized why I've never seen a real pegasi- they're all white, so they're easily seen and easily hunted. *grumbles* Sorry- I've been looking for a bay or chestnut pegasus for a while now and can only seem to find white or striped ones... Anyway, very well done. I love the scenery, the wings (I have a weakness for good wings), and the waterfall-lady is a nice touch. The pegasus' rump is bothering me, though... it seems out of proportion somehow. Maybe it's just the left hindquarter.

This is fantastic he is flying there is no doubt about it and he is so white just how I imagined him to be. I would love this painting on my walls, I mean that, not just saying it to get you to stay! *Hugs*

What a delightful scene. I love the sunny summer afternoon feel to it. And the water is fantastic!

This is a very lovely pic indeed but i just have to comment this, most of the part i have my own horse and i do a great time of drawing horses, the front legs make the neck seem a but "chubby" and u gave the horse the look of it just in the air it would look awesome if the horses back hooves were still on the ground as if it were just leaping into the air. Lol sorry if it seems im complaining, which im not!
