| 19 Nov 2004 | Amanda L. Collins | Now that is a beautiful picture. Those colored pencils certainly didn't give their lives in vain. You can just feel the soft, long grasses and the warmth of the sun as it rises above the horizon. Every detail is great! Postitively beautiful. Sarah M. Zagacki replies: ""hail the victorious dead!" tehe, sorry, i'm obsessed. thank you for the comment" | |
| 20 Nov 2004 | Anonymous | *Envy, envy, envy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* I LOVE it!!!!!! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!Dude, you are GOOD! | |
| 23 Nov 2004 | Gothic Cowgirl | To me it looks like that of a Gyspy Vanner. Or posibly a pershon? Fresians if bred with a gyspy vanner will come out as a paint might I add. There are tons of draft breeds that could be titled as this one. I love it. Also. To my knowledge there is no such thing as a double saddle. Sarah M. Zagacki replies: "i don't think there was such thing as a double saddle until katharine invented one." | |
| 30 Dec 2004 | Lynn Michelle McDonald | This is beautiful horse needs more shoulder before the leg starts but its not noticable great work^^ | |
| 9 Jul 2005 | Anonymous | This is soooo warm an peaceful... Sooo wow I exactly know that feeling... summer... evenig..... sigh | |
| 21 Aug 2006 | Sdixon | Wow. That's really awesome! I love the sun rise(set?) and the way the light falls on the hills. When I first looked at this picture, Rohan did come to mind(I don't know if it's just in the movie or in the book too; I've only read the hobbit and the fellowship, but I thought of the Rohan kids whose mother sent them off to warn... someone? It's been a while since I saw it last. Anyhow...). I never knew things like this could be done with colored pencils! It's beautiful. How big is it really? Sarah M. Zagacki replies: "ooh, you should definitely watch TTT again, but make sure it's the extended version, which makes the movie 3x better. but yeah, thank you very much for the comment! ^_^ i think the original size is around 12x19"." | |
| 21 Sep 2006 | Skulblaka | wow, I've just read that you have made it whit colourpencils, amazing. Especially the swords. I can look to it hours! | |
| 21 Sep 2006 | Skulblaka | It's nice. The horse her legs are a bit strange, but that isnt very importent. | |
| 22 Sep 2006 | Sdixon | You see, that's the great thing about having a dad who likes them so much that he just hapenned to get the extended version of all three movies for christmas over three years : ) Return of the king is my favorite, though, so it's the one most watched. Anyways, colored pencils rock! I'm doing a big picture with them right now, and it's sooooo much fun to do... | |
| 20 Jan 2007 | Emily Rose Betzler | That is so beautiful. I am in awe! The colors are fabulous! And the panoramic view is breathtaking even if it's just a bunch of grassy hills! It's wonderful and sunny and colorful and I really congradulate you on your texture technique, it's quite impressive. | |
