SciFi and Fantasy Art: Natalie Hunter Concept Art

It's finally COLORED!!! More concept art for my Shadowrun comic Jade Tears.

This one features Natalie in her earlier years when she still lived at the orphanage.

The text is hard to read so I'll type it out and clarify my character notes. Damn my chicken scratch..hehe..

'Natalie's last name was changed from Blackhawk to Becker when her father, David Blackhawk (or Death Walker as the Native Americans dubbed him), changed his identity to hide from the UCAS government (see the Death Walker picture in my gallery for more on David). After Natalie's mother, Regina, died of an overdose and the abuse from her father increased, Natalie became more withdrawn. After David was murdered by Aurora, the two best freinds moved to the city to find work.

Natalie became involved with a tattoo artist named Paul (he's the one who gave Natalie her tiger stripe back tattoos and Aurora her ornate butterfly tattoos). One night, Natalie and Paul were attacked by a group of Gangers who tortured and killed Paul over a matter of days, and raped and tortured Natalie. They left her out on the street later thinking she was dead. Aurora found her and took her to the hospital.

Since the loss of Paul, her first love, Natalie had nothing to live for. When her and Aurora were taken in as 'constituents' of the Yakuza and cybered up, Natalie decided that Shadowrunning was the best way for her to die. Why not die making money?'

Natalie has retractable horns that come out of her head, which are a tad different from Aurora's. I'll post a pic of her cybered form when it's finished. The most apparent thing you can see in this one is her Balance Tail, which lets her leap and scale walls with more accuracy, which is very useful when doubled with her Climbing Claws.

Natalie's a character my buddy Josie played when we used to be in the same Shadowrun group. Done with Prismacolor Colored pencils
