SciFi and Fantasy Art: Medusa

This was a pencil drawing on graph paper I did for my bedroom wall. Then I decided to have some fun with my scanner and Photoshop....And this is what came out of it. Who ever said that Medusa had to be an ugly creature from mythology?

Actually according to the myth, she's supposed to be quite beautiful. though If she had a tail instead of legs, wouldn't it be a little longer? other than that, great picture!

**I had done this origionally for a painting on my wall, but it was painted over when I moved out. Fortumately, I still had the origional drawing. It was on graph paper tho, so it was really hard to get out all the lines. I agree with you that her tail is a bit short.**
