SciFi and Fantasy Art: He is called the white rat...

Many of the nobles on astaraite call him the 'white rat'. Maybe they look down on him, but they also fear the wits of the high commissioner, second to the kings. Moreith Vildris made a extraordinary career: from punished criminal (he was once the leader of a part of the guild of shadows, which fought against astaraite) and slave to a mighty nobleman with own land and power beyond imagination for a griffon. Moreith Vildris is a man of wisdom and intrigues, who uses his wits and his tricks to find out what he wants. He is a thaumaturg, a specialist in making sigills and runes - that is the only magic he can use.Many think he is not loyal, but he can be, if there is a reason. The people, who stand near his heart are his sister Nimren and his wife Peyton, the only ones he realy trusts. The picture in the Background I shot myself in a town nearby, called Essen.

Not that he didn't before, but I think on this picture one can see why he is a white rat: He is able to fit in every situation he gets in, be it the thaumaturg in Rhyswinde or the first commisioner on Astaraité... btw: I love his new robe very much!
